Business on the move: making distance irrelevant

3943 reads

Imagine a scenario where a businessman could be location agnostic. What if retrieving business information needed only 2 things: an active internet connection and any computer or mobile, anywhere in the world? Time, is money for a businessman, Time well spent would directly convert into business growth. So why should one’s business wait for them to reach an office space, why should they not be able to do business from anywhere, at any time?

We live in the technology age. Internet has enabled us to remotely access our office desktop from the comfort of our home, but it requires one to complete various settings, get authorizations, and generally has restrictions on the computer being used.  This is not ‘business-on-the-move’ in the real sense of the phrase. So why should one’s business wait for an individual to reach an office space, why should they not be able to do business from anywhere, at any time?

True power would come if sales people are able to access their data and print the list of outstanding payments while sitting in a client’s office, from client’s system. Or, rather than calling and checking the inventory status of any material, they should be able to log into the system, instantaneously check the status and confirm the order with the delivery date, to the client.

Not just this, a CA should be able to access your data, ask and receive clarifications and complete the entire audit process, without once stepping into your office. This means, your business would continue as usual, without any pause, yet your audit is done in time.

Here is what a CA, Mr. K Mohan, CA Firm Mohan & Chandrasekhar, had to say “I was overwhelmed by the technological advantage of doing the audit remotely for many of my clients using Tally.ERP 9.  This will benefit me and my clients immensely.  The time saved will help me in serving more clients.  Without the latest version of Auditors edition our work would not have been so simple”

Tally’s Trusted Remote Access capability has bridged the time and resource gap between traveling businessmen and their business data.  Tally has truly made distance irrelevant for a business owner. For more information on this, go to:
